Accessibility
Access for every visitor.
Elliotts Towing LLC wants customers, applicants, account contacts, and visitors to be able to get information and complete important website tasks regardless of device, input method, or disability.
Statement updated August 14, 2026
Our approach
The website is designed toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, which includes the WCAG 2.1 requirements, as a practical technical target. This statement is not an accessibility certification or a guarantee that every person or third-party service will encounter no barrier. Accessibility is ongoing work.
Accessibility features
Current features include:
- Semantic headings, landmarks, labels, instructions, and descriptive link text
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, forms, details, dialogs, and controls with visible focus
- Skip links for moving directly to main content
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and hidden treatment for decorative icons
- Manager fields for adding useful descriptions to published photos
- Responsive public, owner, team, account, status, feedback, and acknowledgment layouts intended to reflow on small screens and when text is enlarged
- Readable colors, reduced-motion support, and forced-colors support
- Form validation and status messages exposed to assistive technology
- Printable electronic acknowledgment records and a paper alternative available by phone without a website fee
- A low-data, text-first page that works without JavaScript
- English and Spanish paths for essential service and safety information
Review and testing
Automated tests cover semantic structure, keyboard-relevant controls, form labels, private-route handling, reduced motion, and responsive source requirements. Important changes are also reviewed in phone and desktop layouts. Automated tools cannot establish full conformance. Dedicated testing with every screen reader, voice-control system, browser combination, and disabled user group has not been completed; reports are welcomed so specific barriers can be fixed.
Known limitations
Customer-supplied PDFs and images may not themselves be accessible. Third-party pages reached through Google, Towpal, mapping, telephone, relay, or social and review links are controlled by their providers and may have different support. The business cannot guarantee the accessibility of those external services. If an upload or outside service creates a barrier, use the alternative below.
Alternative access and effective communication
If an online form, file upload, or website page is difficult to use, call 757-748-8285. Relay calls are welcome; dial 711 for Telecommunications Relay Service, including text telephone, captioned telephone, and video relay paths supported by the relay provider. Elliott's Towing will treat relay calls like other calls and work with the caller on an effective alternative. For non-urgent written communication, the secure support form and private feedback form provide non-voice paths. Private team or account users may also use the relevant portal's internal request path when available.
Report an accessibility problem
Please call 757-748-8285 directly or through 711, or use the private feedback form, and describe the page, task, device, browser, and assistive technology involved. That information helps identify and correct the problem. Do not include passwords, private access links, payment-card information, or unrelated sensitive records.
