Privacy notice
This notice explains how Elliott's Towing VA and Elliotts Towing LLC use information submitted through the public planned-service request form and manage public website content.

Not an emergency channel
The online form is for planned requests. It does not confirm service or dispatch a truck. For urgent roadside help, call 757-748-8285.
Information the form collects
The planned-service form can collect:
- Name, phone number, and optional email address
- Requested service, date, and time
- Pickup and drop-off information
- Vehicle details and notes you choose to provide
Do not include payment-card numbers, account passwords, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive details in the notes field.
Technical information
Like most websites, the server receives standard request information such as an IP address, browser type, requested page, and request time. The application uses network addresses for short-term rate limiting and abuse prevention. The public site does not use advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral tracking.
Photos, reviews, and public profiles
The authorized manager can publish business photos, captions, an About story, social profile links, review destinations, and selected review highlights. Published items are intentionally visible to anyone who visits the public website.
Uploaded PNG, JPEG, and WebP images are processed to remove common embedded location, comment, and camera metadata before publication. Elliott should still avoid publishing private paperwork, precise private locations, unnecessary license-plate details, or an identifiable person's image without an appropriate reason and permission.
Featured review text should reproduce genuine public customer feedback accurately. A customer may call 757-748-8285 to ask about correction or removal of a review highlight or identifiable image.
How request details are used
Request details are used to review availability, estimate the time needed for a job, manage the request, and contact you about the service. The public form does not take payment.
Location details
Pickup and drop-off text is stored with the request for Elliott to review. The website does not send those locations to a public mapping or routing service. Available times use a conservative planning buffer; Elliott confirms the route and arrival estimate directly.
Dispatch notifications
When dispatch notifications are enabled, a service provider may receive the customer name, phone number, requested service, vehicle, pickup, drop-off, date, time, and booking reference so Elliott can respond. Optional email, customer notes, and manager notes are not included. The site does not calculate or store route coordinates.
Storage and retention
The booking system stores request details so Elliott can manage planned work and related business records. The content system stores manager-published wording, links, review highlights, and image files until the manager removes them. Information may be retained as needed for those purposes or when required for business or legal records. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Security
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to limit access to booking and manager information. Manager access is protected by a server-side session, and private dashboard pages are excluded from search indexing. No method of internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Cookies
The public website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. The private manager portal uses one essential sign-in cookie after a successful login. See the cookie notice for details.
Other services and links
The site serves its typefaces and interface assets directly. It may use a configured dispatch-notification service as described above. If you follow a review, directory, or social-media link, the destination service receives the information your browser normally sends and applies its own privacy policy and cookie practices. The public booking page does not include advertising trackers or take payment.
Your choices
You may call 757-748-8285 to ask about information you submitted or request a correction or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for operational or legal reasons.
Children's privacy
The website and towing services are not directed to children under 13, and the business does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the planned-service form.
Changes to this notice
This notice may be updated as the booking workflow or service providers change. The effective date above shows the current version.
